Maison Joseph Drouhin

Since its founding in Beaune by Joseph Drouhin in 1880, the eponymous house has established its reputation through 90 appellations, including many Grands Crus and Premiers Crus.

The taste of authenticity

Run by the fourth generation of Drouhins, this outstanding estate in the heart of Burgundy is exceeded only by the quality of its wine. With 38 hectares in Chablis, 32 hectares in Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, and 3 hectares in Côte Chalonnaise, Joseph Drouhin forms one of the largest Burgundy estates, planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

While the estate has grown through the decades, its guiding principle for delivering exceptional wines has remained steadfastly consistent: "respond to natural problems with natural answers." Plowing by horse, treating the vines naturally, harvesting by hand and keeping the production yield intentionally low allows the best of each terroir to shine through.

Today, the founder’s four great-grandchildren carry on this tremendous heritage. Blending tradition with innovation, they proudly carry forward the House's reputation.
