United States

Home to 90% of U.S. wine production, California was the first region in the New World to be internationally recognized for its wine quality. Washington State and Oregon are also ideal grape-growing states, producing more and more sought-after wines.

Domaine Drouhin Oregon

For four generations, the Drouhin family has crafted quality wine from Chablis to Beaune. In 1988, Philippe and Véronique Drouhin endeavoured to export this expertise and quality to Oregon. The initiative paid off, with UK magazine Decanter declaring their white wine "best of the New World".

Two terroirs. Singular recognition.

When he first settled amidst the best vineyards of Burgundy more than a century ago, Joseph Drouhin couldn’t have imagined that, four generations later, the expertise and quality of his wine would also make waves in the New World. History doesn’t show it, but the results speak for themselves: In 1987, Robert Drouhin, the third generation to carry the family name, purchased a plot of land in the hills of Dundee, Oregon.

For more than 25 years, Véronique and Philippe, Robert’s brother, have brought a wealth of experience to their vineyards in the Willamette Valley, southwest of Portland. The Domaine Drouhin teams operate with respect for the family legacy, and take pride in their respect for the land, their vineyards and the environment.

The wines of Domaine Drouhin marry balance, harmony and character, with a subtle freshness presented by the youngest, and a sumptuous complexity offered by the wines for ageing.
